Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Product Application Engineer to join our team supporting the Piezo product line. This role plays a critical role in advancing our Piezo product line and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a hybrid position, based in our Prague office (Nupaky) with flexibility for working from home. The position reports to the Product Manager from the Danish sister company but will offer you the chance to collaborate with a global team and support the optimization, development, and maintenance of Piezo product lines across multiple sites. Our wide portfolio includes bulk ceramics, multilayer ceramics, single crystals, thick film, and transducers.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Regional Responsibilities:
- Provide application-product engineering support to Piezo product lines across global manufacturing sites (US, MX, DK, CZ, CN).
- Maintain and improve existing products, processes, and specifications.
- Develop internal products and expand platforms to meet customer and market needs.
- Resolve technical issues in manufacturing and testing, ensuring high-quality results.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and specifications.
- Initiate and implement cost-reduction projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead new product pilot runs and reliability tests, establishing control plans and FMEAs.
- Support the development of new products by providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams including sales, engineering, product management, and marketing.
Customer-Focused Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and product samples.
- Understand customer needs and provide technical solutions to meet those requirements.
Support Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to promote new and existing products.

What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management or technical roles within the electronics sector.
- Fluency in English (other languages spoken at CTS locations are a plus).
- Proactive and able to work autonomously.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Basic knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and machining processes.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
