Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Sensors and Transducers (SnT) Engineer to join our team in Nupaky, Prague East. While we are primarily seeking experienced candidates, we also encourage applications from junior professionals who are eager to develop their expertise in acoustics, piezoelectric sensors, and transducers. If you have a strong technical foundation and motivation to learn, we will provide training and mentorship to help you grow into the role.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design and develop piezoelectric sensors and transducers to meet specific customer requirements.
- Select and evaluate piezo ceramic components essential for optimal sensor and transducer performance.
- Support the introduction of new products to production by defining manufacturing steps.
- Conduct measurements and testing of sensors and transducers using laboratory equipment.
- Analyze transducer output, sensitivity, noise, and resonances to characterize performance.
- Document design processes, test results, and development progress.
- Enhance the design of existing sensors and transducers for improved performance and cost efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in sensor and transducer design.
- Work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support development projects.

What We Expect from You
- Knowledge of piezoelectric technology, sensors, and transducers.
- Experience in mechanical design and proficiency in CAD software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Finite Element Method (FEM) is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of material properties (metal, plastic, ceramic) and adhesives.
- Some knowledge of electronics, soldering, and connectors is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to learning and professional growth.
English proficiency is required; Czech language skills are an advantage.
